Villa MC is the home of a family who loves hosting friends. Here, conviviality is interpreted as the need to enjoy spacious areas and ensure a continuous dialogue between the interior and exterior—spaces where anyone can move, sit, set up long dining tables or gather around a summer bonfire. The architectural design features a single-story home organized around two main wings that define the sleeping area and the living area. An exterior wall of lava stone marks the entrance path, leading directly into the living room as if it was a black monolith. Various types of glass surfaces and visual axes bring the greenery of the large garden that surrounds the house into the interior – in a figurative way.
