The restaurant in Como is situated on the top floor of a recently refurbished international hotel. And the top floor means a view: over the city and the lake. The inspiration for the interior design project draws on the lakeside landscape and a nautical theme, seeking to create a warm, understated and contemporary atmosphere.
Geometry: doors with porthole windows, tables with bevelled edges and Fresnel lamps are design choices that lend the dining room its distinctive character.
Materials: the briarwood table tops and polished wooden panelling evoke nautical tradition. Colour: dark green is the dominant hue characterising the floor, seating and textile ceiling panels, a nod to the waters that await the gaze of those who ascend to this height.
